To uninstall an optional feature, you’ll have to head over to the Settings, Apps and then Optional features. Once you click on the Optional features, you’ll get to see the list of optional features, and from there you’ll pick the ones you don’t want in your PC. Clicking on the optional feature will display an “Uninstall” option, clicking on which will uninstall the app from your PC.
It’s worth noting that optional apps or services can’t be permanently erased from Windows 10. If you reverse your decision in future and want to have the optional feature, which you just uninstalled, back on your Windows 10 PC, you’ll also be able to do that. You’ll have to go to the Optional Features page by following the aforementioned process and then click on the “Add a feature” option.
If you accidentally uninstall WordPad and Microsoft Paint, you’ll be able to bring them back by following a similar process.
